Tessa's Poem-Memories

Memories

Wild waves wash with wisdom,
Sand swishing swaying in silence,
The tide tumbling to my toes,
Gazing goes,
And Autumn appears,
Searching for summer,
I reappear,

Then I noticed,
In the sand,
My florescent pink board,
Outdoing the silky golden sand,

Clutching my board,
I float in the rushing water,
Thinking of my younger sister,

Wow Tess. What an amazing poetry. I loved the use of alteration like ‘wild waves wash with wisdom’. It made me paint a beautiful picture of the beach in my head. You are a fantastic writer and Jamie and I hope to see more of your poetry.

Great poem Tessa, I like the part where it says "The tide tumbling to my toes,
Gazing goes,
And Autumn appears,
Searching for summer,
I reappear,"

you have some great rhymes and a good sense of words, well done!

Hi Tess,

I really enjoyed your spicy poem.
It was really cooking!

I love how your first paragraph contains lots of scrumptious alliteration. It really made my mouth water. Next time I think you should stick with your delicious alliteration recipes throughout the whole poem, but overall I think you are developing into a MasterChef in the Language position.
