Verity's poem-The Sea Grass

Planted here
By the beach twigs over there
The whisper of the salty wind soaks into my icy skin
The storm erupts and the ocean and wind combine.
The wharf fights back
It holds steady and creeks “I’m Ready”.
I get ripped like my heart got pulled apart.
I am flying freely frightened
The storm dyes and the concrete sky disappears.
An hour later a girl arrives by my side at high tide
She picks me up and says “how funny”
as she glances to see it is now sunny
“Strange. What is a piece of sea gass doing out at sea?”
She says to me.

Really good poem. I like the sentence
"The storm dyes and the concrete sky disappears." Very good
