Mount Maunganui - Tom C

The wind suddenly blows
and then just as quickly,
it goes.

The maze of waves
splash on rocks and sand,
making white water and
reaching the land.

As I lay there in
the sand, I think to myself,
oh, how grand.

Although I ran away
from home.
I still have the beach,
but nobody knows.

well done Tom, I really like the first stanza(The wind suddenly blows
and then just as quickly,
it goes) it really has a good rythm and you set the scene really well.

Hi Chumko,

Sweet poem,

I can tell your using a wide range of spices eg. Salt, alliteration, pepper, cinnamon, similes metaphors and chili

I specially liked the way you used the ingredient, in this sentence

The maze of waves
splash on rocks and sand,
making white water and
reaching the land.

It really catches our attention

You definitely have potential as a poem chef
You really know how to cook up a poem.

From your poem chefs,

I really like the way you rhyme. It helps the flow of the poem. I also like the descriptive language.
